Jerry Sneva, 68 of Indianapolis passed away on January 27, 2018. Jerry was born on May 23, 1949 in Spokane, Washington to Edsol and Joan (Giles) Sneva. Jerry was an Indy Car Driver, and a member of the Old Timers at the Indianapolis Speedway. He enjoyed Golfing and woodworking. Jerry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathy K. (Kyburz) Sneva; son, TJ Sneva; daughter, Shelby Sneva; brothers, Jan Sneva, Tom Sneva and Blaine Sneva; sister, Robyn Sneva; granddaughters, Solveig Brown and Winter Sneva.

I remember Jerry well from Spokane...nice guy...and when he did well in the Indy 500...some friends of ours—Mary and Millard—
went to see him race....so exciting!!! RIP guy......

Chuck, Debbie, Krista and I have been talking all day about what a great man Jerry was and how much our father Chuck loved him. Our dad is in a nursing home and has very limited understanding of what's going on around him. I told him about Jerry's passing and we looked at all of the pictures we could find of him on line. Dad said "Jerry was a great friend." We all send our love and condolences. Kathy, we have all spoken of how great you are too, and we all, dad included, send our love and prayers. We all remember him speaking of his children and we know that he loved them so much. What a great thing to be the child of a great man and be able to say you are proud to be his child.
