Mark Steven Shimrock passed away January 31, 2018.  He was born on August 4, 1957 to Joseph and Rose Mary (Klarich) Shimrock, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Mark was a graduate of Avon High School.  After high school, he attended Vincennes University and graduated from Indiana State University.  Mark was a member of International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers Local #22.  He loved his family, traveling to the beach, and collecting cars.  Mark is survived by his siblings, Joe Shimrock, Tim Shimrock, and Carolyn Godby;  and nieces and nephews, Timmy Shimrock, Colin Shimrock, Makenzie Shimrock, Jack Shimrock, and Natalie Shimrock.  He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rose Mary Shimrock.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202

Rest In Peace Mark! I’ll always remember all the good times we had together! All those years there on the farm playing and working for hours and hours! There are a lot of memories I will always treasure. You’ve left is way too soon! You were our eyes there on the farm these last few years keeping an eye on the place! Please know we all appreciated all you did. I know mom and dad would always enjoyed your visits! You were a true friend! REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND!
