Obituary

Sandy Rene Olunsanyiro went home to our Lord on June 14, 2025, at the age of 48. She was born to Mr. Jimmy Cobb and Mrs. Denise Demmings on August 10, 1976, in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a child, she excelled in school and ran track on her school team.

She started her love affair with her husband, James (Jake) Olusanyiro, about 9 years ago, they got married and were blessed with a child named Josiah. However, due to her passion for caring, she had previously raised some children and consistently cared for young and old in her life.

Additionally, she was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and sister who bridged relatives together. Sandy dedicated her life to serving God by caring for the people of God. Throughout her life, she held steadfast faith in God. Sandy fought the good fight of faith, finished the race, and kept the faith.  (2 Timothy 4:7). She is survived by her husband, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and extended family members. She will be remembered forever.

We are John & Marchell Hayes we were co-workers of Sandy at Ceva Logistics. We have so many great memories of Sandy, she was such a caring, kind, gentle lady who loved and care for everyone. Sandy had a beautiful smile that would turn your frown into a smile if you was having a bad day. She had a way of greeting people with gentleness, and loving kindness. We used to tell her all the time that she had a million dollar smile. Sandy was a true friend, that you could talk to and trust. She always called me Sis, and my husband, uncle John. I would often tell Sandy that she was the proverbs 31 woman, looking after her husband, her son, and the love she had for family when she would talk about family, and church family Her eyes would light up so bright. Hearing.about the loss of Sandy sent shockwaves through our hearts and minds. Sandy will truly be missed tremendously, our hearts are truly aching and hearing about the passing of her. We will.cherish the awesome memories that we have of this awesome, amazing woman. To her son, her daughter, her husband and the rest of the entire family you have our deepest condolences, and sympathy. I know that this is a very hard time for each of you, we will keep you all lifted up in our prayers. We serve a God that sits high on the throne. We know he doesn’t make mistakes. We are asking God to comfort each of you as you move forward in life, and know that the memories of this awesome woman will last a lifetime. May God keep each of you in his tender care, and wrap his arms around you and give you peace. Humbly submitted by John, and Marchell Hayes
