Obituary
James Gordon Knarr, 84, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on May 10, 2018. Jim was born on May 5, 1934 to Herman G. Knarr and Geraldine Daisy Phillips Rockwell in River Rouge, MI. Jim retired from the Indianapolis Airport after 25 years of service in the maintenance department. He volunteered for 20 years at Methodist Hospital Indianapolis and was awarded a commendation for his many hours of service. A graduate of Avon, High School, Jim was a member of Speedway United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sister, Marilyn (Vincent) Green of West Lafayette; brothers Ronald (Jean) Knarr of Danville, IN, Gerald (Mary) Knarr of Kouts, IN and Vinton (Carol) Knarr of Tulsa, OK. Burial will be in Stilesville, IN.
