Mae Yowell

Mae L. Williams Yowell, 73, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on May 19, 2018. Mae was born in Beulah, MS to the late, Joe and Alma Williams. Mae was married twice and both husbands precede her in death, John Yowell Jr, in 1987 after four years of marriage; and Willie Lewis Jr passed in 2016 after 13 years of marriage. Mae was a wonderful wife and mother having provided for her family with a home full of love. She was a member of Christian Community Missionary Baptist Church. Mae is survived by four sons, Marvin Lewis, Hakim Kamau, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Lewis and Jerry Lewis; one daughter, Jenniffer Lewis; grandchildren, Tiffany Lewis, Marketa Travis, Justin Lewis, Alexus Kamau, De Angelo Nelson Sr, Angelique Lewis, Jatoya Lewis, Jalisa Lewis, Jeremiah Lewis; great grandchildren, Xzavion Holcomb, Devin Wilson Jr., De Angelo Nelson Jr., Kennedi Sorrel, Daryah Nelson. Dieor Nelson, Freddy Kamau and another great-grandchild on the way.
