All of my love to Rick, Ricky and Jenny. I wish I could be there with you. My heart is breaking with you. I want to write more about all of the incredible experiences with Patty that I treasure but I can only state generalities now. I hope I can share more later. There is something about losing a sibling that cuts out part of one's heart. They are one's memory, one's history, and the ones who have shared all of the joys and tragedies of one's life. They have known one's shames and triumphs, struggles endured and overcome and the ones that could not be fixed. For me, Patty and Sharon were all of that multiplied by one hundred. Patty, Sharon, and I were always together as little girls and teenagers. We did not have any of the not uncommon sibling jealousy or competitiveness. We were like the Three Musketeers ("the three inseparables"). I do not know how to start getting through this while being away from all of my other (remaining) siblings. All I can say is I love each and every one of you with all of my heart and soul and still, like all of you, am having trouble imagining a world without Patty in it. She was the best! And she had an amazing husband! She adored her children and grandchildren with a relentless unselfish love. I have to stop. Do want to remember the fun times--there have been so many! Patty could always laugh!

I have no words to express how sad I am and how much I loved Patty. My greatest childhood memories involve being with our family. Patty loved with all of her heart and I am so grateful that I was a recipient of that love. I am sending prayers and love to Rick, Ricky and Jenny. You were so lucky to have Patty as an amazing wife and mother. I am so sorry for this loss. I love you all and I look forward to coming together soon to celebrate Patty's life. I love you and am so very sorry!!

I just hate I wasn't able to come offer condolences in person. I have tons of wonder memories of Patty. She was living with us when she started dating Rick. He took her to the State Fair and it happened to be my birthday. He won her a HUGE white dog. I was convinced it was my birthday present. She agreed to share. Later when they married. Rick was out of town and she let me spend the night. Then she let me take a shower with an umbrella! Haha I thought she was amazing! Which I know she was. When my mom was sick in the hospital Rick and Patty came daily to see her. It was so comforting to us all. Such a FABULOUS woman! Always doing the right thing for everyone! Such a giving person!
