Michael Horatschki

On August 26, 2018, Michael Horatschki, 20, passed away peacefully at home after years of battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. When he was diagnosed at five years old, doctors gave him ten years; Mikey blessed us with fifteen. He loved playing video games with his friends, watching Dragon Ball Z and attending local festivals. He will be sorely missed by his friends and family. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation, where Mikey attended an annual Christmas party, would be greatly appreciated. Because of Mikeys love of animals, please also consider donating to the Human Society of Indianapolis. Mikey is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Ronald James Myrtle; grandfather, Johann Horatschki. He is survived by his father, Isabel Lopez and mother, Heidi Horatschki;; uncle, Jonathan Horatschki; great-grandmother, Gloria Myrtle; grandmother, Lisa Adcock-Myrtle; aunt, Angela Herebin; great aunt, Holly Singh; brothers, Daylan, Nicholas and Jayce Horatschki; great uncle James Myrtle.
