Donald Harmon Sr.

Donald William Harmon Sr., 81, of Rossville, IN passed away on December 1, 2018. Donald was born on May 28, 1937 in McCook, Nebraska to Loren and Maurine Rork. Donald served proudly and bravely in the United States Navy from 1954 – 1958, he then went on to work for the U.S. Naval Avionics Facility from 1959 – April 1976. Donald retired from the Firestone Industrial Products in Noblesville in 1992. Donald is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Harmon. He was loved many and will be missed by all who knew him. Donald is survived by his children, Venetia Harmon (Lloyd) Wallace, Donald W. (Cathi) Harmon Jr., James Loren Harmon and Terri (Alan) Rathbone; grandchildren, Justin McBride, Jason McBride, Jennifer Harmon, Jessica Harmon, Jamie Harmon, Dana Harmon, Heather Harmon, Alicia (Thomas Jones) Montgomery, Ashley (Andy) Plue, John (Aubrey) Montgomery Jr, April (Tony) Evans, Shala Rathbone; and 33 great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering is planned for Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10^th Street Indianapolis, IN 46224.
