Stephanie was always striking around St. Michael Church and St. Andrew's preschool as an incredible energy and force. As her busy mom life transitioned to the life of battling her illness and fighting for that mom life with everything she had, I then marvelled at her easygoing personality and cheerfulness. I thought she adopted an inner peace very quickly and seemed to hold to it, through excruciating pain and sorrow, I'm sure.
Prayers for her beautiful family.

I sincerely understand as I lost Jackie 17 years ago. Take one day at a time. I called Brook's Place for Grieving Children. If you need a place where kids can be kids this is the place. I explained the situation and they are ready to help.
Carol Braden is the contact at 317-705-9650
You will meet with a representative and then you will be invited to the first night at St. Luke's Methodist Church at 86th and Illinois Streets. When you arrive, there is a free will offering on the table, plenty of pizza (sometimes other foods from nearby restaurants), drinks, and some sort of desert. After about 30 minutes, children will go to their groups based on age and or needs. Adults can attend the session for adults or sit in the dining area until all sessions are completed.
Adults can not leave, but must be present just in case children need them.
Tremendous program Kurt.
You can call me 317-313-9498.
Take care,
John
