Obituary

Linda J. Evan, age 74, of Avon, Indiana died peacefully at home Sunday, March 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born February 19, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN, daughter of MayEtta (Kendall) Baxter and Stepfather, Gene Baxter. After a 6 week courtship on November 28, 1964 she married the love of her life, Steven L. Evan.

Linda was a dedicated wife and mother. She treasured her children and grandchildren, embracing every moment with them. Her kindness and loving heart extended far beyond her family to include friends and the occasional stranger with an open door and a fresh pot of coffee.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Steven L.; son, Steven S. and his wife, Jenny; daughter, Misty and her husband, Randy; daughter, Dawn and her husband, Mark. Blessed with Fifteen Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, Dear Sister-In-Laws, Judy Page, Anna Gray, and Diana Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There are very few times in my life that I do not have words this is one of them! You will be terribly missed you were a cornerstone! I know no amount of tears will ever fill the void that is now missing from this earth. You left behind a beautiful legacy in your children.
