Dorothy Crampton

Dorothy Ann (Horan) Crampton, 88, of Avon, IN passed away on March 28, 2019. Dorothy was born on November 18, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN to Charles W. and Gertrude L. (Smit)h Horan. She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church. Dorothy enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. She enjoyed all sports, especially being on Golf courses with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Wm John Crampton Jr. She is survived by her children, Nancy Hipskind, Carol Gentry, Wm John Crampton III and James C. Crampton; eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Susanna Catholic Church 1242 E. Main Street Plainfield, IN with visitation from 9:00 AM until time of Mass. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
