Jeffery's faith was an integral part of his life, and he lived with a conviction that resonated in his daily interactions and the love he freely shared with others.

Jeffery's life was marked by a profound connection to the natural world. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and joy in the simplicity of hunting, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. The tranquil hours spent in his garden tending to his flowers, especially daylilies, were a testament to his patience and nurturing spirit. The thrill of morel mushroom hunting was a cherished springtime pursuit, a tradition he looked forward to each year.

Beyond his outdoor hobbies, Jeffery's playful heart shone brightest when he was picking on and teasing his daughters. His gentle ribbing was always delivered with a twinkle in his eye and a ready smile. His role as a grandfather was one he cherished deeply, delighting in every moment spent with his grandkids, Jacob, Logan, Chloe, and Warren, whose lives he touched with wisdom and whimsy.

Though he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Joann Ritter Girdley, and his daughter, Karen Girdley, Jeffery's legacy of love and laughter lives on through his surviving family.
