Jane Louise (Enslin) Bybee, 72, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on May 12, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis on April 4, 1947 to Earl Lee and Rosemary Jane (McGauley) Enslin, both preceding her in death. Jane was also preceded in death by her late husband of 25 years, Russell Bybee and a brother, Mike Enslin.  Jane dedicated her life to her family. She spent many years of her life working and volunteering at St. Michael School and Cardinal Ritter High School. She was loved so many and will be missed by all. She is survived by her daughters, Katie (Rickie) Bybee, Sarah (Kevin) Hicks, Amy (Eddie) Cmehil; sons, Jeff Bybee and John (Jenna) Bybee; sister Patty (Mike) Stafford; brothers, Andy Enslin and Bryan Enslin; seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Janey Bybee was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She carried onward after the death of her husband and partner. I became more familiar with her when she served as my late wife's fund raising chairman for the St. Michael the Archangel Home School Association. She and Jackie decided to hold a Walk-A-Thon in 1990 to raise money for HSA in order to assist with teachers' needs. The first walk generated $1,500. St. Michael the Archangel Parish will always remember the legacy that you left.

Oh, Aunt Janie, how much you will be missed. I will always remember your smile and laugh and what an amazing person you are. You are leaving a wonderful legacy of beautiful and good hearted children and grandchildren. I’m so blessed to be your niece and I hope you’re peacefully enjoying the view. Rest easy. Love you.

We are truly saddened of the lost of a precious soul and a person who always had the ability to smile no matter what the circumstance. Your life will always have a special place in our hearts and your memory along with the memory of Russ will last forever.
