Eddie Durham Jr., 35, of Rushville, IN passed away on June 15, 2019. Eddie was born in Ocala, FL on June 9, 1984 to his father Eddie Joe Durham Sr., who precedes him in death and his mother who he is survived, Sophia Watts. Eddie by trade was a butcher, but by heart was a musician. He had a passion with writing and composing music. Eddie loved to share his talents with many friends and family. He adored his family time, but most of all his quality time spent with his children. Eddie enjoyed scary movies, cooking, being outdoors, and was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and the Michigan Wolverines. Eddie was loved by so many and will be missed by all. He is survived by his mother, Sophia Watts; daughters, Breana Fields, Makayla Horton and Kalina Kay Renay Durham; sons, Eddie Joe Durham III and Tyler Mink; brothers, Daniel (Breona) Schultz, Larry (Crystal) Schultz, and Raymon Durham; sisters, Tanya (Andrew) Vansickle and Jessica (John) Denny, Merriha Durham and Nikki Fital; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

*** UPDATE - Visitation services will be held at Serenity Funeral and Cremation Services 6202 Michigan Road Indianapolis, IN 46268 on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

You was a great son I love you with all my heart I remember the times when you had all your Ninja turtles and your Nintendo games and you would just sit in front of that Nintendo game and not even go to the bathroom and go in your pants but that's okay cuz I love you and I'm going to miss you dearly and my heart is crushed but you are a great dad son brother and I am going to miss you with all my heart and I'm never going to forget you we've had some good times lots of laughs and funds and God bless you son I love you with all my heart

Eddie you saw something in me that no one else did as a musician and took the time to show me the ropes of recording and you taught me everything I know. I was devastated to hear the news because I just saw you not too long ago and let you borrow some recording equipment so you could get back into music and I was looking forward to seeing you at my wedding. You will be missed bro but I know you're in a better place now and I will see you there when my time comes.
