Brent E. Stegemoller, 57, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away October 30th. Brent was predeceased by his father, Fred Stegemoller, and is survived by his mother, Susan Stegemoller, his children, Jennifer Garcia (Justin Hayse) and Travis (Jennifer) Stegemoller, his grandchildren, Madalyn and Gavin Garcia, Raelynn Hayse, and Noah and Ellie Stegemoller, and his siblings, Kelly (Phil) Deardorff, Kent (Mary Jane) Stegemoller, and Heather (Steve) Ulrey. Brent graduated from Ben Davis High School and was a lifetime volunteer firefighter for the Wayne Township Fire Department. He primarily worked for Fargo Insulation and Special Events Hospitality. A private family service will be held followed by a celebration of life for all who knew Brent beginning at 5:00 p.m. on November 8th at the American Legion Post 64, 601 S. Holt Rd., Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation (www.htohhfoundation.org/donation/).

Brent, You and I became friends in 1980 when we met on a fire run for Wayne Twp. I remember the days you were a parttime dispatcher with the fire department and I would come by and talk with you. Boy, the stories we could share. Rest easy my friend and we will meet again.
