Obituary

Larry Service in the United States Marine Corps (Sergeant E-5) from 1962 until he was honorably discharged in 1968. He worked for General Motors Corporation for 39 years. Larry was an active member in the American Legion and an active member of the VFW where he served as Commander and also Quarter Master. He was a 32nd degree Mason and Scottish Rite. Larry loved his family and took deep interest in helping people when in ever need under any circumstances. He was also great at making people laugh. Larry is survived by his life partner, Sue Watson; son, Timothy P. Moore; brother, Jerry Moore; sister, Marlene Wesling; and grandsons, Dillon Moore and Corey Morton.

A funeral service with military honors will be 12:00 PM Monday, November 11, 2019 at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th Street Indianapolis, with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, IN.

Loved this man when I was growing up. His family was our longtime neighbor in Arlington. Many times he protected me from my family chaos. Great laugh and huge smile. Prayers to his family. Miss you Larry.

Uncle Larry is a one of a kind. He always has been and always will be. He had a great sense of humor! He was one of the most honest and straightforward people I ever met. He was a great guy who will be missed. I love you Uncle Larry!
