Obituary

Sherman “LeRoy” Wesner, 68 of Brownsburg, IN passed away of natural causes on December 14th, 2019.

A celebration of LeRoy's life will be held at Eaton Hall (61 N. Green Street, Brownsburg, IN) on January 5th, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

LeRoy was born in Indianapolis to Lee V. Wesner and Wilma I Wesner on September 19th, 1951. A graduate of Ben Davis High School, he worked as a painter at Jenn Air and then went on to train forklift drivers for Pearson Education, now LSC Communications. He enjoyed hockey and professional wrestling as well as baseball where he was an umpire and later a coach for AJAA. LeRoy was a poet and an aspiring comedian but he most succeeded as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. 

LeRoy is survived by his wife of 19 years, Judith Ann Wesner, their 3 sons and their spouses, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife.

I am so sorry to hear of Leroy passing, I worked with Leroy at Pearson Education in Lebanon, Indiana. Leroy was a wonderful person, always laughing, and always kind to everyone, We will surely miss him, He was one of the nicest people I worked with. May God be with his family always. Ronald Jones

Maggie Clark I worked with Leroy for many years. He was truly a good person with a kind heart and a friend to everyone. Leroy looked on the positive side instead of the negative. In Lebanon at the all facility meetings he would always have a joke for us. He loved to make people laugh. In Lebanon we had a Christmas party every year for the children of the employees. My grandchildren loved him as Santa Clause. We always got a picture. Those memories are special to us. We will miss him.

My heart breaks, I have many great years with LeRoy, Pearson family knew how great he was , Many fantastic memories From playing Santa Claus , reading for the record, clever funny poems , etc , you will surely be missed , praying for Judy and the family and friends.
