Blake McCoy

Blake “Buck” McCoy, 46, Avon, Indiana passed away at 10:20 am Saturday, January 18, 2020 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Indianapolis, In on April 2, 1973 to Elaine (Sutherland) Judd. Blake was very caring, giving, and loved his family. He had 2 sons, Landon & Brady that he thought the world of. Blake attended Howe High School. Blake loved working with his hands. If there was something that needed fixing, he would always say he could do it. Whether he could or not. He definitely gave it his best effort, even if there were parts left over. LOL. Buck was in construction throughout his life. Blake is survived by his 2 sons, Landon and Brady; Mother, Elaine Judd; Father, Jeff Judd; 2 sisters, Katina Sutherland & Jicasta (Judd) Hayes; Brother, Tony McCoy & Mark McCoy; Nieces, Trinity Lara, Tara McCoy, Taylor McCoy, Faith McCoy, & many others; Nephews, Christian Campbell, Tony McCoy, Kane McCoy many others; Aunts, Sherri Sutherland, Tina (Sutherland) Sizemore, & Sheila (Sutherland) Murphy; Uncles, Carlo Sizemore & Jerry Murphy; Cousins, Jimmy Murphy, Jason Murphy, Josh Murphy, Christopher Davenport, Angela (Murphy) Davenport, Donnie Murphy & many more friends & family. Blake was preceded in death by his Brother, Sean McCoy; Grandfather, Charles Sutherland & Harry (Da) Fullen; Grandmothers, Avis (Granny) Streeter & Sammy (Mammaw) Fullen; Cousins, Jerry (Murph) Murphy. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46224, with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow to Floral Park Cemetery located at 425 N. Holt Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5-9 pm Wednesday January 22,2020 at Stevens Mortuary.
