Obituary
Alexander Johnathan Wotring Sr., 38, of Beech Grove passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Alex was born in Indianapolis, IN to Cathy Ann Waffle and Claude Hershel Wotring Jr. on October 25, 1981. He owned Big B's Lawn Care. He loved music, weapons, technology and spending time with his children. Alex was an old soul, hardworking, intelligent, forgiving and a patient man. He never stopped working towards his goals, and he never hesitated to give the shirt off of his back to someone in need. Even if it was all he had. He was a lover and a fighter that is no longer in pain. He will be missed deeply and forever by all who were fortunate enough to experience his light, especially his family and children. Alex was preceded in death by his father; brother, Corey Waffle; and sister, Angel Wotring. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Cathy Ann Waffle; daughter, Angela Nicole Wotring; son, Alexander Jonathan Wotring Jr.; brothers, David Wotring, Shawn Humphery, Jerry Humphery and Mike Humphery; and his sister, Laura Wotring.

I am just now seeing this not realizing how long ago it was
My heart is truly broken Alex had a light that Shone from the inside out he was an amazing human being
He had an infectious laugh and amazing smile and a beautiful heart
Alex was always on my mind and always will be in my heart the time I spent with him would be a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life
My prayers are with all of his family and friends and I pray that God watches over you and continue to know that Alex had a deep impact and the last thing impact on those who was fortunate enough to see the true light that shined

Rip alex you may not of been blood but I called your dad uncle Claude and you my cousin and I remember in 2015 when I first moved in with you and your dad one week after I moved in was my birthday and you asked me what my favorite odd thing was and I said polka dots and then you left for about 20 minutes and came back with that white soft throw blanket with the polka dots on it for me and covered me up with it cause I remember I had a cold and you also had brought me back hot chicken noodle soup ! You where the best not blood cousin I ever had love ya see you on the other side hey you better have me a hug waiting love Lucy
