Obituary
Else Viola Boals, 81, of Indianapolis passed away on July 15, 2020. Else was born in Smithland, KY to Elmer Clark Kayse and Nora Slayden, both preceded her in death. Her career was spent as an office manager working for The Kroger Company. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved caring for her family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert E. Boals; son, Timothy J. Boals; grandson, Ken Boals; granddaughter, Nina Boals; sisters, Jean Quagliese and Elizabeth Burkeen; and one brother, Paul Kayse. Funeral services are private per the request of the family.

The entire WIDA family offers our deep support to Tim, Nina, Kenny and Mr. Boals as you honor the life of Else. I remember Tim telling me how she advocated for him to attend a specific high school, and that talent for advocacy for education and children was passed down multiple generations.
