My dad, who recently passed, was a very good friend of John's. I had the pleasure of hearing John tell me a story of me when I was a little girl, he lived next door to my parents and worked at Herff Jones with my dad. Herff Jones recently had a reunion and my dad was very glad to have gotten to visit for a spell. I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how much he will be missed. May he RIP. AS A VERY YOUNG MAN I REMEMBER PICKING UP JOHN FROM THE TRAIN STATION AND TAKING HIM TO MY HOME. WE, FRED AND I, SPONSORED HIM, WHEN HE ARRIVED TO INDIANAPOLIS. WE HAD A JOB FOR HIM AT THE POLE DRIVE-IN ON 16TH STREET. THIS IS WHERE HE MET YOUR MOM. SUCH A SWEET AND LOVELY GIRL,TIME PASSED ON WE MET HER AND FELL IN LOVE WITH HER. SHE WAS LOVELY, SWEET AND VERY FUNNY TO BE AROUND. AT THE WEDDING WE MET THIS AMAZING LADY, MOTHER OF THE BRIDE. SHE WAS ONE OF A KIND, ENJOYED BEING WITH HER ALL EVENING. AT THIS WEDDING, FRED AND I. BECAME YOUR NUNO AND NUNA AS TIME PASS, IT WAS JIMMY AND I, WHO HELD AND SPONSORED EACH CHILD TO THE ORTHODOX CHURCH. IT IS A HONOR TO BE A PART OF YOUR FAMILY AND HOPE WE ARE TOGETHER FOR YEARS TO COME. GOD GAVE YOU THE BEST PARENTS, WHO DID A GREAT JOB. LOVE YOU ALWAYS YOUR NUNA
