His siblings include three sisters: Lelia (Joe) Taylor, Jr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, Patricia (Anthony) Jones of Indianapolis, Indiana and Clesta Lanita Compton of Rockport, Indiana, and two brothers: William Henry Greer of Owensboro, Kentucky and James Arthur Greer of Stuttgart, Germany.
