Carolyn L. Hamlett, 78, of Forest Park, OH passed away on October 21, 2020 at the Drake Center in Cincinnati, OH. Carolyn was born to Clarence and Carrie (Padgett) Parson in Waynesburg, KY. Carolyn was a cosmetologist and hairdresser. What she loved the most was staying at home raising her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles M. Hamlett; and daughter Robin Stromberg. Carolyn is survived by her son, Steve Hamlett; daughter, Rhonda Yaden; brother, Tom Parsons; sister, Linda (Parsons) McClure; grandchildren, Tyler Renner, Brandon Renner, Grant Yaden, Brent Yaden, Ross Yaden, Mason Hamlett, Brynn Hamlett, Chase Hamlett; and one great-grandson, Hunter Renner. Carolyn was loved by so many and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, the family request contribution be made to the ASCPA - Indy Humane Society 7929 N Michigan Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
