Helen Viehe

Helen Viehe, resident of Harbor Manor Nursing home, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Thomas More Church, 1200 N. Indiana St. Mooresville, IN 46158 at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 5. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM. Internment will be following Mass @ Crown Hill Cemetery. Helen was born in Terre Haute on August 19, 1921 to Matthew Nally and Mary (Aaron) Nally. She had five brothers: James W., Francis W., John M., Joseph D., and Eugene V. Her four sisters were Anna I., Margaret L., Leonara May., and Betty N. She married Paul E. Viehe who preceded her in death. They had one child Janette, who died in infancy. Helen worked at Uniroyal Company, previously known as U.S. Rubber. She retired in 1972. She was a member of Saint Christopher Church in Speedway, IN. She lived at Crestwood Village in Indianapolis for many years. She spent the last several years of her life at Harbor Manor nursing home , in Noblesville, where she died. Helen enjoyed black coffee, home grown tomatoes, chocolate of any kind, western movies and playing cards. Friends and Family who would like to make a memorial are requested to donate to Heart to Heart Hospice, 2611 Waterfront Parkway East Dr. Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46214, Heart to Heart Hospice cared for her the last few months of her life.
