Starr was my only brother. Growing up together, we had good times and bad but when you’re an adult you only remember the good times. One big joke we had was the time we both took guitar lessons about the time he graduated from high school. We thought we were going to be famous musicians, so, Starr had just gotten his first car. We joked about hanging a long sign on the side of the car reading “I TAKE GUITAR LESSONS”. He thought it would help picking up girls, being fresh out of high school. Starr was so funny he could have been a stand up comedian. I will miss you, brother. Love you forever and you will live on in my heart and memories. Until we are together again, enjoy what God has for you in the Promised Land! HUH!

I have been friends with the Westlake family since I was 14 years old. Starr (Norman) was the older brother of my best friend. I will always think of him as funny and kind and brave and will miss him. I am glad he is at peace now and will keep the family in my prayers. May God bless and comfort each of you.

Star was my best friends dad and I have a lot of memories of him especially from Childhood. We all would like to eat at Chi Chi’s growing up- He enjoyed that. Prayers for his loved ones as they grieve the loss of a man who they loved so much. Prayers to you Kristen- He is so proud of you! You were a loving, doting daughter to him❤️

Starr and I were friends for almost 20 years after he built my first house. He could always make me laugh when I was going through troubled times. I will miss him
