Obituary
Roy Dean Drew, 69, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on June 17, 2021. He was born in Washington, IN on March 14, 1952 to William Henry and Virginia Maxine (Weaver) Drew. Roy was a member of the American Legion Post 64, Knights of Columbus, Holy Family 3682 and St. Christopher Catholic Church in Speedway, IN. Roy was an inside sales consultant with Alro Steel. He enjoyed golf, horseshoes, NASCAR, Indy Car, IU Basketball, camping, karaoke, cookouts and especially gathering and spending quality time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 38 years Kathy I. Drew. He is survived by his sisters Sharon (Ron) Drew-Hysong, and Rhonda (Gene) Drew-Johnson; sons Scott (Brenda) Drew and Brian (Jenny) Drew; daughter Christina (David) Arriaga; loving pet Rosco; and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th St. Indianapolis, IN with a Rosary at 7:30 PM. A funeral service will also be at the mortuary at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 25, 2021. Interment to follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family kindly ask that memorial contributions be made in Roy's memory to one of the following charities; Humane Society of Indianapolis 7929 N. Michigan Road Indianapolis, IN 46268 or to American Heart Association 3816 Paysphere Circle Chicago, IL 60674.

Condolences to Roy's family. I worked with Roy for several years at Alro Steel. We always had great discussions about IU basketball and life in general also great laughs. Rest in peace, Roy.
